Program at the Winterwonder Mörbisch

Magical hours in a unique setting

The impressively staged lake stage on Lake Neusiedl, which comes to life with a stunning nativity scene, a radio play and impressive projection shows, is the setting for a varied program with highlights that change weekly.

In winter, the Seebühne in Mörbisch takes on a whole new look: the famous area on Lake Neusiedl is transformed into a winter wonderland that is unique in the world. Digital projections and projection shows bring the world's largest nativity scene to life. At the atmospheric Christmas market, mulled wine, regional specialties and the warmth of the exhibitors create a cozy atmosphere. A varied concert program and entertainment for younger guests perfectly round off the experience at Winterwonder Mörbisch. Here you will find special program highlights from the first season!

November 23, 2024 - January 4, 2025

Thank you for a magical first season!

Winterwonder Mörbisch is currently closed. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Seebühne soon and would like to thank the 28,000 visitors who came during the first year. We will keep you updated here.

These were the highlights of the first season.

Children's program

Whether decorating gingerbread, modelling balloons, having their faces painted, doing arts and crafts or playing, the children's program offered our young guests many opportunities to be creative. Sunny Bunny, the mascot of the Lutzmannsburg Spa, was also there.

Sorcery & Magic

Illusionist Sven Alexiuss enchanted the audience daily with a magical show on the Advent stage.

Projection shows

The Christmas story was brought to life at the world's largest Christmas nativity scene with audio plays and impressive projection shows, delighting visitors.

Entertainment for young and old

There was no room for boredom in the children's wonderland. There was colorful music, handicrafts and games. During a leisurely stroll through the Christmas village, you encountered many entertaining surprises: stilts walkers made children's eyes light up, a clown and St. Nicholas visited Winterwonder Mörbisch. You could also try your hand at turning wood or working with metal.

Concerts and more on the Advent stage

It was rarely quiet on the Advent stage at Winterwonder Mörbisch. Magician Sven Alexiuss thrilled audiences with a daily magic show. Musicians from the area delighted the audience with exquisite pieces from a wide repertoire and created a special atmosphere. Traditional brass music, atmospheric cover songs and contemplative Christmas carols were on offer.

Special highlights

On December 14th, the famous Coca Cola Christmas truck made a stop in front of the Winterwonder Mörbisch. In front of the impressively illuminated stage, the largest children's choir in Burgenland provided magical moments, and bestselling author Thomas Brezina enchanted the audience together with an ensemble of the Burgenland State Orchestra.
